Making the Connection: Exploring Best Practice in Music for Young Audiences

A one-day event showcasing inspirational individuals and two European ensembles delivering high quality and accessible music experiences for children, families and schools.  An invitation to musicians, music sector and venue professionals to explore new thinking about exciting and immersive performance experiences.

Keynote speakers include: Caecilia Thunnissen (Oorkaan, The Netherlands); Wouter Van Looy (Zonzo Compagnie, Belgium) and Jesper Gottleib (Producer LMS, Denmark); with sessional workshops including Scott Rogers, Nicola Burke and Chi Chi Nwanoku.  Closing Remarks from Darren Henley, Arts Council England

Presented by Lakeside Arts and MishMash Productions, in partnership with Nottingham Music Hub, Orchestras Live, The Chineke! Foundation and the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
