Making it Musical: practical strategies for teachers

  • 7th July 2017 - 7th July 2017
  • 2 - 5pm
  • Library of Birmingham

Trinity College London is pleased to announce the first in a series of CPD events for teachers.

In partnership with the Musicians’ Union, we will be offering practical workshops, networking and the chance to access some of the fantastic Music for Youth Festival events.

Our keynote session and practical workshops will explore approaches to music that focus on choice, wellbeing and accessibility.

Delegates will unpick what this means in their own teaching contexts. The emphasis will be on ensuring that our approaches to teaching develop the whole musician. We will look at how music teaching has real world relevance, providing a pathway to the creative industries.
