Makaton Signed Nursery Rhymes and Songs
This workshop will give a taster session introducing practitioners to making songs multisensory with Makaton.
This workshop will be delivered by Suzanne Miell-Ingram MBE of Singing Hands. Suzanne is a SEND parent, Co-Founder of Singing Hands and author of the Signing Friends book series. Singing Hands were established over 20 years’ ago and have appeared on Something Special and have produced 6 DVDS of Makaton signed songs. Singing Hands have over 250K subscribers on YouTube and both Suzanne and Tracy received MBEs for their work back in 2020. Singing Hands work at Great Ormond St Hospital School, Evelina Children’s Hospital School and at SEN schools, mainstream schools, hospices, SEND groups across the UK.
