Inclusive Job Description Workshops with Changing Tracks

  • 18th May 2021 - 25th May 2021
  • 3.30pm - 5.00pm
  • Online

Changing Tracks are looking for music service heads of service and inclusion leads to work together to develop an inclusive job description for instrumental tutors on Tuesday 18th May and Tuesday 25th May, 15:30 – 17:00.

This is to build on work started by members of the National Music Services Working Group on Inclusion.

You’ll take part in two short, focused, twilight sessions, where we’ll share experiences and expertise, successes and pitfalls. You’ll need to attend both sessions.

On the 18th May we will work up ideas for essentials for inclusive instrumental teaching, (draft job descriptions, adverts and placement of adverts) which participants will take away for consultation.

On the 25th May we will review feedback, and co-create an exemplar job description which will be shared publicly.

Places are limited to one per organisation, with a limit of 12 participants overall.

This is the first of Changing Tracks’ ‘task and finish’ short term peer working groups that will be formed in response to pressing issues and needs in the sector. They will be promoted publicly for any music service peers to join, and the results will be shared publicly.

Follow Changing Tracks on social media and make sure you like or comment on their posts and keep a look out on their channels to make sure to see the announcements!
