Hull Music Cities Convention 2026

  • 9th - 11th June 2026

Music Cities Convention returns to the UK, bringing together global leaders to explore how music shapes cities. A key opportunity for music education organisations to connect with policy, skills development and community impact.

Music Cities Convention Hull 2026 brings together policymakers, city leaders, cultural organisations and music professionals from around the world to explore how music shapes cities, economies and communities.

For music education organisations, the Convention offers a chance to connect your work to wider conversations around policy, skills, access and long-term impact. Sessions will explore topics including cultural infrastructure, workforce development, health and wellbeing, and inclusive music ecosystems.

Alongside keynote sessions and panels, delegates can take part in workshops, roundtables and networking opportunities with over 300 international attendees. The programme also includes Hull of a Night, a citywide music showcase, and the Music Cities Awards at Hull Minster.

The Convention is focused on solutions, creating space to share ideas, exchange knowledge and develop practical approaches to building stronger, more connected music ecosystems.
