This online session explores the Model Music Curriculum and is designed to assist those who work in primary school settings, in its implementation.
The 2021 Model Music Curriculum (MMC) sits at the heart of the Government’s agenda for supporting curriculum music in schools in Key Stages 1, 2 and 3. This non-statutory resource provides a practical framework, offering guidance and ideas for teachers to help them deliver the requirements of the National Curriculum.

Participants in this online session will:
- Review the rationale behind the Model Music Curriculum
- Consider ways to implement it in KS1 and KS2
- Explore activities for developing singing, listening, performing, and composing
