Folk Music Taster Day

On offer are 75-minute workshops in:

· Accordion – Paul Hutchinson

· Banjo – Ed Hicks

· Bodhrán & percussion – Joe Danks

· Fiddle – Beth Gifford

· Guitar – David Delarre

· Melodeon – Hazel Askew

· Penny whistles – Sarah Allen

· Song – Laurel Swift

At the end of the day there’ll be a chance to let off steam in a short ceilidh, with performance spots from some of the tutors, so bring comfortable dancing shoes!

For anyone over the age of 12 years. Young people under 16 must be accompanied by a participating adult).

No previous experience of music or folk required! Instruments will be available to borrow on the day.

· Morning only: two workshops of your choice – £22.50 | £18 concessions / youth

· Afternoon only: two workshops of your choice, plus concluding ceilidh – £27.50 | £22 concessions / youth
