Excellence in Primary Music – London

  • 10th February 2017 - 10th February 2017
  • 10am - 4pm
  • ISM Meeting Room

Our most popular course returns following a 5-star rating on the Teacher Development Trust website, and a feature on Heart FM! This course looks in detail at the skills, knowledge and understanding that pupils need to develop in order to progress in Performing, Composing/Improvising and Listening, through a mixture of research presentation, practical activities and discussion.

Course Leader: Jacki Pattenden
Jacki studied music at Dartington College of Arts as a singer and violinist and orchestral performance at the Centre for Orchestral Studies, Goldsmth’s College, London. This was then followed with a PGCE at Bulmershe College, Reading, resulting in qualification as a teacher; a career she has been pursuing for the past twenty-eight years!
