Excellence in First Access (WCET) – Manchester

Drawing on the latest best-practice research, this course for instrumental and primary teachers will inspire you to make the most of your First Access / Whole Class Ensemble Teaching / Whole Class Instrumental Teaching / Wider Opportunities programmes, whatever your school calls them!! The course will cover issues such as integrating First Access into the main music curriculum, the role of the class teacher, co-planning, assessment, and the recommended content of First Access lessons.

Course Leader: Dr Elizabeth Stafford
Dr Stafford is Senior Lecturer in Professional Studies at Leeds College of Music, Programme Leader for the Level 4 Certificate for Music Educators at CPD Centre West Midlands, and Director of Music Education Solutions Ltd.
