Evaluation: A guide through the basics

  • 13th June 2024
  • 2pm - 3.30pm
  • Online (Zoom)

This expert-led course provides an introduction to the basics of evaluation including the terminology and different approaches that music hubs and organisations working in music education are likely to encounter.

Are you unsure about the different between an aim, objective and outcome? Flummoxed by indicators, frameworks and what counts as ‘data’? This course provides an introduction to the basics of evaluation including the terminology and different approaches that music hubs and organisations working in music education are likely to encounter. It will give you an overview of how evaluations are planned and more confidence to plan evaluation for aspects of your own work.

The session will conclude with a short consultation about what other training and support Music Mark members would like regarding evaluation.
