Communicating Through Music – Children

Join us for a transformative 2 1/2 hour online workshop exploring the power of music in communication, led by an experienced HCPC registered Music Therapist. Whether you’re a musician, teacher, or just a music lover, this workshop will help you discover the ways in which music can enhance your ability to connect with others, express your emotions, and build meaningful relationships.

Through a series of interactive exercises and discussions, you’ll learn tools and ideas to help you use music to communicate more effectively. In this workshop these will be specifically tailored to those working in Early Years and Primary School settings. You’ll explore the different types of musical communication, from nonverbal expression to singing and songwriting, and learn how to tailor your approach to fit the needs of your class/group.

This workshop is open to anyone who is interested in exploring the powerful role that music can play in communication across the curriculum, and no prior musical experience is required.
