Communicating Through Music – Adolescents

Join us for a transformative online workshop exploring the power of music in communication, led by an experienced HCPC registered Music Therapist. This workshop will help you discover the how music can enhance your ability to connect with others in an educational setting.

Join us for a 2 and a half hour online workshop a series of interactive exercises and discussions, you’ll learn tools and ideas to help you use music to communicate more effectively. In this work shop these will be specifically tailored to those of a secondary school age. You’ll explore the different types of musical communication, from nonverbal expression to singing and songwriting, and learn how to tailor your approach to fit the needs of your class/group.

This workshop is open to anyone who is interested in exploring the powerful role that music can play in communication across the curriculum, and no prior musical experience is required. So whether you’re a seasoned musician or a complete beginner, join us for an inspiring and informative workshop that will leave you with a new appreciation for the transformative power of music within an educational setting.
