Climate Conversations

An opportunity for colleagues across the UK music education sector to discuss how they are getting involved in This Is Not A Rehearsal, and raise ideas or challenges surrounding their work and the climate crisis.

An opportunity for colleagues across the UK Music Education sector to discuss how they are addressing the climate crisis within their work. Sessions will be based around specific themes and will be an opportunity to share, ask questions of the group and problem solve collectively. Grab a cuppa and join us in a space where you can inspire others, be inspired by the sharing of ideas, reflect on challenges, celebrate achievements and build a supportive community to develop our collaborative approach to sustainability in Music Education.

Session Dates & Themes

Climate Conversation sessions are based around specific themes, and take place at different points through the year, to try and allow access to people across the Music Education sector. The sessions are open to all, including non-Music Mark members. Please see dates, times and themes below:

  • Climate Action Plans & Instrument Sustainability and Repairs – Wednesday 26th June 2024 3pm – 4pm
  • Integrating Climate Education into Music & Sustainable Concert Production – Tuesday 8th October 2024 11am – 12pm
  • Wellbeing and Climate Anxiety – Thursday 5th December 2024 12pm – 1pm
