Choral Conducting: An Intermediate Guide

  • 20th April 2024
  • 9.30am - 4.30pm
  • St Andrew's Church, Waterloo, London, SE1 8LJ

A one-day training event for those who have successfully completed our Initial level of training, or those who already have experience of leading a choir regularly and are looking to develop their skills further.

This can be taken as a stand alone training day, but it will also serve as an ideal follow-on from Day 1 (17th February). This fully interactive day will include individual podium time for all participants and will cover key topics such as:

  • Posture, kinaesthetics and effective gestures
  • Preparing and planning for a successful rehearsal
  • Continuing to develop your own communication skills

Attend this event

£95 per day for abcd members / £135 per day for non-members
(abcd members – log into your account first, then the member rate will show automatically)

If you’re a young conductor (under 28) or a musician regularly working with young people, why not apply for a bursary place at just £50? There are two bursary places available – please contact elisabeth.brierley@abcd.org.uk for further details.
