Benedetti Residency String Teacher CPD Day
Open to all string teachers everywhere, this is a day of professional development designed especially for you by the Benedetti Foundation to enhance your teaching and enrich your music provision.
West of England Music and Arts is working in partnershihp with The Benedetti Foundation to bring together a whole week of workshops, CPD for teachers and a mass youth strings day.
If you are a string teacher, come and work with Benedetti’s Lead tutor and Head of String Teacher Development, Rachel Cooper, whose impact in the field of music education has earned widespread recognition. In 2023, she was honoured with the Emerging Artist Award by the Dallas Symphony Orchestra during their Women in Classical Music Symposium, following a nomination by Nicola Benedetti. She is currently authoring a book on violin pedagogy, aimed at supporting educators working with young string players.
Collaborate with colleagues, discover new repertoire and strategies, and leave inspired to enrich your music provision. Includes: Creative Teaching Workshop, Sound Production and Intermediate String Teaching.
