ABRSM Piano Seminar – London
This session offers an in‑depth exploration of the updated repertoire, examining new highlights and much-loved favourites. Practical teaching strategies will be shared throughout, including holistic approaches to introducing unfamiliar styles and ideas that balance technique with creativity.

Your presenter:
Pianist Luis Parés is Director of Music at Alleyn’s School in London and President of the Art of Piano Education Awards for 2026. He has been an examiner for ABRSM for over a decade, examining nationally and internationally, and is a presenter at teaching conferences. He has performed over four continents as both soloist and chamber musician with a repertoire of over 25 concertos and numerous radio broadcasts. He was Scholar at the Royal College of Music in London, studying with Gordon Fergus-Thompson and Andrew Ball.
