Membership
What is Music Mark?
We are a membership organisation, Subject Association, and an Arts Council England Investment Principles Support Organisation advocating for excellent musical learning in and out of school. We support our members through training and resources, connect them with the wider Music Education network across the UK, and influence on their behalf at a national level. Our vision is for accessible and excellent musical learning and engagement, inspiring and enriching the lives of all children and young people. Find out more about us.
The organisation I work for is a Music Mark Member, how do I log in?
At Music Mark, organisations do not have a single organisational login. Instead, the individuals within that organisation have their own Music Mark accounts affiliated to the organisation’s subscription.
If you are employed by an organisation that is a Music Mark Member or Industry Partner, you can create a free Affiliate Subscription to enable you to benefit from our training, events, resources, offers, newsletters and lots more. To create an Affiliate Subscription, you’ll need someone in your organisation who already has a login to access the Welcome Pack and send you the Create Your Free Affiliate Subscription link.
If you need further support with this, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. We’ll be happy to help.
How do I cancel my membership?
Please get in touch to let us know that you would like to cancel your membership.
When your membership is cancelled, you’ll retain membership up until your renewal date. This is to ensure that you don’t lose out on membership you have paid for.
If you pay by direct debit, cancelling your direct debit will ensure that your membership lapses at its renewal date.

How do I join a Peer Group?
Visit our Peer Groups page to find out more about our range of Peer Groups and how to join them.
Can I see a list of the training and events I am booked to attend or have attended in the past?
Yes! Log in to view upcoming and past bookings in the Event bookings section of your account.
How do I list my training and events on your website?
You can submit your training and events using our online List Your Training & Events form. Once we receive your submission, we’ll review it to make sure it is appropriate for listing in our Training & Events calendar.
Resources
What is Music Mark's resources library?
We host listings on our website for resources on a wide range of music education topics. Many resources are provided or commissioned by Music Mark while others are hosted on behalf of external providers.
How can I find the resource I'm looking for?
Looking for Music Mark’s own resources? Browse our resources with the newest resources first.
Know what you’re looking for? Search for keywords. Search results will be ordered by their relevance to your search term. You can then refine the results further by filtering them by a specific category or type.
Know who made the resource? Search for a specific Provider. When you click on a Provider, you’ll be taken to their Provider Profile where you can find out more about them and see all the Training & Events, Resources and Jobs that they have listed on our website.
Want to browse resources in a specific category? We’ve got categories such as ‘Leadership & Management’, ‘Primary Education’ and ‘Equity, Diversity & Inclusion’. Filter resources by category.
Want to browse a type of resource? Our resources can also be organised by types such as ‘Research’, ‘Training’ and ‘Guidance’. Filter resources by type.
Want to see newly uploaded resources? Click the search button without entering a search term and you’ll be shown all resources with the newest resources first.
Need more help finding what you’re looking for? Please get in touch and we’ll be happy to help you.
How do I list my resources on your website?
You can submit your resources using our online Submit a Resource form. Once we receive your submission, we’ll review it to make sure it is appropriate for listing in our resource library. You will need to be a Music Mark Member or Industry Partner for us to publish listings that are not free for all to access.
I've found a resource that appears to be out of date. What can I do?
We have hundreds of resources in our resources library and, while we try our best to keep them up to date, changes will always happen that we don’t know about. If you’ve found something that needs updating, please get in touch so that we can look into it further.
Can I share your resources with my colleagues?
If you’ve had to log in to view a resource, that means it’s only available to our members. If the organisation you work for is a Music Mark Member, you’re welcome to share member-only resources with your colleagues but please do not share them with anyone outside your organisation.
If you have colleagues who are not yet Music Mark Members but who would like to access our member-only content, please do encourage them to join us.

The Music Mark of Recognition is valid for the duration of the academic year in which you receive it. Regardless of when you are invited to the programme, the certificate and logo are valid until the end of the academic year. What is the difference between the Music Mark of Recognition and Music Mark Membership?
There is lots of content available on our website that schools can access free of charge. Music Mark Membership is a way for schools to get even more from Music Mark, with member-only resources, training, events, newsletters, discounts and a School Member logo.
Becoming a School Member does not provide access to the Music Mark of Recognition. Only schools that have been invited to receive the Music Mark of Recognition by their local music service can access and display the Music Mark of Recognition certificate and logo.
A school that receives the Music Mark of Recognition can join Music Mark as a School Member with a 50% discount in the first year of membership.
The Music Lead is changing in my school. What should I do?
You do not need to contact us if the Music Lead changes in your school. You can continue to receive our newsletters or unsubscribe from our communications if you wish. Please do encourage the new Music Lead to sign up to hear from us so that they will receive our newsletters.
I’m leaving my current school. What should I do?
Please encourage your colleagues to sign up to hear from us so that your school will continue to receive our newsletters. You should also send your original Music Mark of Recognition invitation email on to someone in your schools in case they need to download the certificate or logo.
If your new school has not received the Music Mark of Recognition, you may wish to get in touch with your music service to request an invitation. You can sign up to hear form us with your new email address once you have started at your new school.
